Differing opinions!

Before i start, this is something related to my previous post on Kargil Vijayotsav. It just made me think on the aspect of how sensitive we, the youth of today are towards issues such as these. We like films based on these things, we like when our country wins a match and celebrate it, but then why do we give a deaf ear to the reality of the situations? When i hear someone saying that he/she doesn't even think on issues such as Kargil Vijayotsav, i didn't know what to feel for that! Should i feel sorry for them or i don't know if they feel sorry for me that i think on such things. It may be true that we might not be able to do anything just by talking, but if that urge is there inside to do some difference to the country, may be one day we also might get a chance, some way to do that. But then if the mentality itself is like, they are things of not our interest, what can be expected of such people?? Interests differ. I agree. But should it be to this extent that one doesn't care for what happens in his own country? And it leaves me wondering, what else would be their contribution to the country?

  1. If a person needs to make a difference to the country he/she need not wait for that 'one' particular day. Things as simple as throwing waste (chocolate wrappers etc) only in dust bins can be done everyday. "A small change leads to a big one".
